what is offset and how to calculate physical address ??? how we know that given data is 16 bits or 20 bits ????

See page no. 34 of handouts. multiply 16 means 16 of decimal which is equal to 10 of hexadecimal. you should multiply hex value with hex 10 or 16 decimal before calculation physical address.
