Q: 2. You have a prototype for anevent reservation system to be used by potential event-attenders to reduce queues at the ticket booth.[10]

Identify the following with respect to evaluation techniques and methods:

  1. The participants.
  2. The technique used.
  3. Representative tasks to be examined.
  4. Measurements that would be appropriate.
  5. An outline plan for carrying out the evaluation.

From Lecture 29-30.

But I couldn't understand the question.

Can some one provide solution help.

The Participants:

The participants are the peoples who can get buy the tickets for the event. Also participants are the organizers of the event who organize the event.

The technique used:

In my opinion technique is sms alert system used to reduce the queue at the ticket booth.

Representative tasks to be examined:

Here in the event reservation system the representative tasks are to be examined through the users strength who have reserved their tickets for the event.

     An simple cell app and Online ticketing is/are most appropriate bcoz it has interaction of all those req which will show all the information as output.

            Did someone experienced PSL ticketing problems?

if yes so he/she can write the best answer and i have drop some clues in above.

      Hope, it will resolve some unprovided and wrong answers.

any body explain what is the answer of question no 1.

@vcmtech

the answer  of question no 1 is given in the above you tube  link  provided by nadeem asghar...

i think Adapt to different user levels and styles. is principle not rule...

remaining all are correct in my perspective.

@Marha Khan

we have to  select participants in accordance to evaluation techniques and methods.

in my point of view the participants will be the people who wanna buy tickets not the organizers ...isn 't it ??

and in techniques

Techniques
There are many evaluation techniques and they can be categorized in various ways, but in
this lecture we will examine techniques for:
• observing users
• asking users their opinions
• asking experts their opinions
• testing users" performance
• modeling users' task performance to predict the efficacy of a user interface...

what do u say???

Yes this is according to the lecture. But with scenario of the assignment question it should meet the event management technique.
