Note: • Presentation & viva voce may be conducted at any time after the acceptance of Internship report and Internship completion certificate. Students will be required to view their emails regularly for their presentation call. • The dates in the course calendar are tentative and may be subjected to change as and if required.

Course Synopsis

HRMI619 is offered to the students of Masters of business Administration. This course is designed for the regular students who are NOT currently on job. Doing an internship (6 to 8 weeks) is a compulsory part of this study program. Upon completion of their internship program, students are required to submit Internship Completion Certificate in original. Request the Internship Supervisor to send Internee’s Evaluation Form directly to the Course Instructor. Submit Internship Report according to the instructions/guidelines and format provided. Appear in the presentation & viva voce to defend their internship program and internship report. NOTE: Only those students will be called for presentation & viva voce who will pass the written work (Internship Report) and whose certificates (Internship completion certificate & Evaluation Form) will have been accepted by the Documents Evaluation Committee. Final result of the course will be based on successful completion of each and every stage (submission) separately as well as jointly. For the sake of guidance, VULMS of this course is enriched with contents such as FAQs, formats, general guidelines, presentation guidelines as well as rules & regulations. Furthermore, semester calendar is uploaded on VULMS pertaining to submission of various documents so that students may be able to streamline their activities with respect to the specified deadlines, as late submissions are not entertained at all.

 

Learning Outcomes

Exposure to Practical Environment

  • This course will enable the students to get practical exposure of the real business environment and it will help the students to learn by observing practice how different activities are carried out in the organization in actual. The students will be able to critically analyze and compare the theoretical knowledge with the practical aspects and it will enhance their professional and interpersonal skills.
