CS302 digital logic and design course is offered in in the classes of Computer Sciences information technology and software engineering for students of Virtual University of Pakistan. In this video three number system have discussed decimal number system caveman number system and binary number system. Conversion from decimal to binary number system and binary to decimal number system with sum of weight method and sum of non zero term method demonstrated with the help of annotations and examples. Also conversion from caveman number system to decimal number system is also explain with an example. In the end conversion from decimal to binary number system and binary to decimal number system with division method and sum of weight method is elaborated with annotations and different examples. Decimal Number System
The decimal number system has ten unique digits 0, 1, 2, 3… 9. Using these single digits, ten different values can be represented. Values greater than ten can be represented by using the same digits in different combinations. Thus ten is represented by the number 10, two hundred seventy five is represented by 275 etc. Thus same set of numbers 0,1 2… 9 are repeated in a specific order to represent larger numbers.
