Objectives:

            Understand and get hands on experience of

  • XML code
  • XSLT code for generation and style of HTML

Instructions:

Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting assignment:

It should be clear that your assignment will not get any credit if:

  • The assignment is copied from Internet or from any other student.
  • The submitted assignment does not open or file is corrupt.
  • It is in some format other than .doc/.docx (MS Word File).

Write XSLT code which will be used to generate and style HTML elements.  

 

Two (XML and Java code) files are already provided with assignment file. You are required to use code of both files, then generate and style new HTML file. The output of generated HTML file should be same as provided in output screen shot below.

Assignment Uploading Instructions:

 

Write required XSLT code and save it into style.XSL file. You need to install Netbeans to use all three files and generate required HTML file. Procedure to run all three files is given in DEMO video attached with this assignment file.

 

Hint:

Before solving the problem, you should revise the topics about “XSL Style Sheet”. An example of XSL Style Sheet is given in handouts (Page no. 171).

xsl:for-each is very important as it is used to create all table rows with the help of loop.

           

Please note that due date of assignment will not be extended, so do not wait for last date and submit your solution as quickly as possible.

I think you mean for each corresponding course,  video lectures are available.

I amn't enrolled in any course yet.
