 Assignment No. 01 Semester: Spring 2018 Network Modelling and simulation – CS432 Total Marks: 20   Due Date: 21/05/2018 Objectives: The objective of this assignment is to check the learning ability of students regarding using the coding in development of a system simulation.     Instructions:   Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting assignment: It should be clear that your assignment will not get any credit if:   §  The assignment is submitted after due date. §  The assignment is submitted via email. §  The assignment is copied from Internet or from any other student. §  The submitted assignment does not open or file is corrupt. §  It is in some format other than .doc (MS Word Document).   Note: All types of plagiarism are strictly prohibited.   For any query about the assignment, contact at cs432@vu.edu.pk Scenario                                                                                            In the development of a system simulation, consider a use case scenario where a man falling from a ladder. For sake of generality, say that man falls from height “H”, the time it takes for him to strike the ground is “t”, initial velocity “V” is 125, initial height is given by “S=980” and the acceleration “a” with which he falls on the ground is -32 feet/sec. The equation; h=1/2 at^2+ vt + s is the mathematical equation of the falling man.     You are required to perform the following tasks; 1.      Program the simulation in “C” program where a simple loop is being run for time till the height of the falling man literally become equal to the ground level (i.e., ; h = 0.0 ) and Send word file containing the actual code. (8 Marks) 2.      Send the screen shot of result after executing/running the program.  (4 Marks) 3.      Mention that at which time the falling man takes maximum height during fall, also give the maximum height. (4 Marks) 4.      What will be the minimum height of falling man before he hits the ground, also give the minimum height. (4 Marks)
