       Four channels, each with a 50-kHz bandwidth, are to be multiplexed together. What is the  

       minimum bandwidth of the link if there is a need for a guard band of 20 kHz between the

Answer.

 

Total channels = 4

Total Ferquency of single channel = 50

Total guard band=3

Guard Band Ferquency = 20

Bandwidth = Freq of chanel * total channel + guard band freq * total guard band

Bandwidth = 50*4+20*3

 

 

Bandwidth=  260 KHz
