Question No2 : (10 Marks)
Write a TSR program that will clear all the contents of the screen and write your ( SYSTEM PROGRAMMING) anywhere on screen of the video text memory available at 0xB8000000 whenever interrupt 8 is invoked. Also, note that the fore color of SYSTEM PROGRAMMING should be white and back color should be blue.
NOTE: If you are feeling any difficulty while making your program a TSR program then it is recommended to view the “How_to_generate_COM_file_and_Execute_TSR_Program.ppt” file available at download section of CS609. As many student send two .c files zip in one folder you can also send like this,
In Dosbox, first of all you need to mount the drive. For example, if your BORLANDC folder is available in D drive then follow the given steps:
1) mount D D:\
3) D:\> cd borlandc\bin
4) Now, Run the following command.
you generate the COM file by executing the following command in DOSBox?
for example bcc –EAB.COM –ID:\BORLANDC\INCLUDE –LD:\BORLANDC\LIB AB.C
(Also, make sure that your BORLNDC folder is available in drive D before executing this command.)
