Effective CGPA is the total CGPA without counting failure courses

CGPA = Sum(Credit Hrs for course X Grade Point obtained in the course) / Sum(credit Hrs)

Cumulative grade point average (CGPA) is the weighted mean value of all grade
points earned by enrollment or by examination in courses at VU.
(Explanation: GPA and CGPA includes the number of credit hours at VU for a letter grade even if a grade of “F” was earned).

Any improved grade will substitute “F” and “D” grades of the previous
Semester for calculating CGPA but “F” and “D” grades will form part of
the transcript.
CGPA means included F grade and Effective CGPA not included F grade

I have 2.00 cgpa and 2.00 effective cgpa. Am i eligible for degree? share degree requirements of MBA
at least Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.30 out of 4.

i had tow queries to ask? D grade subjects is important to repeat?

is it compulsory to clear F grade if one get in pak301?cox it hold only 1 credit and its least important

i have the same two questions asked by Hina Tariq...i had to drop MTH302 due to some reasons in midterm, they didnt reschedule it and consequently, they granted me "F" in finals.

so it is compulsory to choose that subject again?? cz i really dont want to read that fussy subject again by the way...

plz reply!!! any suggestion???

I have CGPA of 3.45 in final result of 4th semester. Can anyone guide me should I convert my degree program into 3.5 years or not?

its depend on you...

Persons having 2 Year MBA degree should continue to 3.5 Year. Because after 3.5 Year, Your degree will be equal to MS degree. After that you can go for PHD.

is that true? the MBA 3.5 years degree is considered as MS degree and one can go  for PHD after the completion of MBA 3.5 years??????

D grades subjects are important to improve only if they are more than in 5 subjects... because if someone have dgrades in more than 5 subjects then he would not be eligible to get degree.

1. First of All 'F' Grade Subject have to be cleared.

2. D grade subjects are just for improvements, You can get degree if you having 'D' Grade subjects but your CGPA should be 2.3 or higher for eligible. I hope now you'll be clear.

To get the degree

1. 'F' grade should be clear.

2. 'D' grades are just for improvements, if your CGPA is 2.3+ then you can get your degree.
