VU doesn't have any policy of supplementary exams. If you have scored F in one or multiple subjects then you'll have to pick the F grade subject in next semester and clear it up all over again (Pass it by appearing in it again). If the F subject isn't affecting other subjects (It is not a per-requesite for any other upcoming subject in the next semester that you need to select) then you can pick the F grade subject later on in your last semesters because maximum 21 credit hours are allowed in last semester. If F grade subject is affecting other subjects i.e. you can't move on and select other subject without passing it first then you are left with no choice but to clear F grade subject first. VU doesn't give any alternate for F grades, you must have to pick up the subject again and clear it even if you have to take the extra semester. That's the only way. Supplementary system isn't introduced by VU yet. Repeat your F grade subject again. Good Luck :)
