Actually both Mealy and Moore have their own advantages. We are required to write our justification.
Mealy has less states, is faster but is less stable.
We can provide arguments in favor of both type of machines.
We have to choose our pick.

CS402 GDB Answer:

Both Mealy and Moore have their own advantages. We are required to write our justification.

Mealy has less states, is faster but is less stable. Mealy machine will be better because it is more efficient than Moore and it has less number of states. Mealy machine is suggested for this security system. In Mealy machine input and output both are equal and its better then Moore machine.
So Mealy machine should be preferable.

Cause it requires less number of states and less hardware to implement.

It provides faster response and is more efficient.
