GDB Topic

You are required to choose a topic from “Course Overview” link given on your LMS account. Topic may span upon more than one lecture as given, but one topic will consist of at least one lecture.

Your task starts from listening lecture carefully, understand important concepts and grasp fundamental knowledge.

Secondly, as you are much familiar with the “Questions” given to you in your mid/final term exams in previous semesters. Your work is to develop quality questions of 2, 3, and 5 marks each respectively by clearly mentioning the Topic name and Lecture number. The Scope of the question you selected should be well aligned with video lecture and handouts. You are also required to give precise answer of the questions you choose by not exceeding 5 lines per question.


Objectives:

  • Students will learn how to solve a question accurately and precisely.
  • Students will apply the same strategy on different topics and learn more.
  • Students will take help and share his/her views against a specific topic from his/her colleague/s.
  • Students will learn how to extract useful information from a given lecture to prepare for exams.
  • Students can be motivated by asking that this scheme will help them in their exams.
  • Every student will listen lecture.
  • Irrelevant answers in the exams will reduce to some extent that will increase students learning.

Read the instructions carefully before sending your comments:

  1. GDB will have weight-age of 5% of your total subject marks.
  2. Your discussion must be based on logical facts.
  3. You should post your comments on the Graded Discussion Board & not on the Regular MDB. Both will run parallel to each other during the time specified above.
  4. Your comments should be relevant to the topic i.e. clear and concise (Maximum 15-20 lines answer).
  5. Books, websites and other reading material may be consulted before posting your comments. (Do not copy the material as it is.)
  6. No extra time will be given for discussion.
