People and Their Behavior
A female manager of a company has just been promoted as Deputy Director. In the first meeting, the CEO introduced her to new colleagues who were all male and said, “At least we’ll get some decent tea in these meetings from now on, eh?” Almost everyone laughed. For some reasons, she did not contribute much in the meeting and the CEO later asked to HR Director. ‘‘I hope we have not made a mistake. She does not seem to be a team player at all.”
As an HR Director, discuss the perceptual problem(s) in above situation.

What is Perceptual Problem??
Perception is our ability to take information from the world around us and make sense of it. This can be through seeing, smelling, touching, hearing or tasting in other words using all our senses. The way the person is able to understand or perceive what is around them can be damaged after a stroke. People who experience this are considered to have a perceptual problem. These perceptual problems can take many forms and can be complicated to explain or understand. Not every person who has a stroke will have a perceptual problem.
Some perceptual problems can seem like a memory loss or a communication problem but they are not. For example the person may seem slower or more hesitant when attempting tasks. They are trying to make sense of the world around them which seems different. They may have difficulty in explaining what they have to do next.
thank u soo much Asif bhai. Masha Allah you are doing very well job GOD BLESS YOU,
as per my observations its the case of less or no training for the individual to be a team player so she need to be trained for being a good team player

As a team member or an hr director my opinion and my observations are as discussed below.
After analysis the circumstances it is sure that an employee which is new comer being not well aware the firm culture so need a time to catch the current organization behaviors. Here the same situation is faced by female which is hired as deputy director. Due to first meeting with top level management the CEO of the company introduce to her with others colleague they are all gents. As the CEO is the guru of any company and the well observer he judging the situation the situation and get result she is not participating the meeting spiritually and maturely. So, the CEO get attention at all said, we get some decent tea in these meeting from now to on, eh” so all laughed. After this hint she much confused and feel hesitation. She not plays at all, behind have some reasons a gender and personality trait among the both male and female.
