Average are ways of describing what is typical, normal or usual. In average frequency we construct the result in many ways. There are many methods for constructing the average result. And every method give us the different result from the previous method. An average is defined as the number that measures the central tendency of a given set of numbers.

An average is single value which is intended to represent a set of data or distribution as a whole. It is more or less central value round which the observations in the set of data. Average indicates the location or general position of the distribution on the X-axis.

Because in average method we conclude the grouping numbers in a specific manner and they give us the whole data result.

Raw Data:

But in raw data numbers or materials collected that represent a measurement or variable it is unorganized and unprocessed. Raw data is a unanalyzed data i.e data not yet subjected to analysis. Raw data is unprocessed or unorganized source data such as the data from an eye tracker which records the coordinates and movement of the eye every millisecond. Raw data processing would be required in order to correctly extract information required without errors. In simple words we can say that raw data is the data that has not been processed for meaningful use. And they give us the unanaluzed result which is different from the average computed result.

i think so there are no much more difference between two averages, there is a slightly difference which can be neglected. as the example given in the above link
