Date Extension for Record Validation
This is in continuation to the previous advertisement of "Student Alert" by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan in national dailies dated September 20, 2014. Students were advised to validate their records as available at the Student's Service Portal (HEC Student Search). It has been noticed that a large number of students have not validated their records within the stipulated time, which has caused delays in the distribution of laptops amongst the students. Keeping the requests (in consideration) from students and universities, HEC has decided to extend the date for record's validation by 15 days. Students are therefore advised to validate their records within the stipulated extended time.
Record validation date for students studying in PhD/ MPhil/MS (or equivalent) has been extended till October 31, 2014 and for students studying in Bachelors or Masters (16 year degree programme) the date is extended to November 16, 2014. This is final call and students who do not validate their records within the stipulated time may not be considered as eligible for the said scheme.
