Q.1   Find out the missing element P(A|B) = ?/P(B)     ( Marks: 2 )

P(A|B) = P(A∩B) /P(B)
Q.2   What is meant by b in the linear regress line y= a + bx?   ( Marks: 2 )
b represent slope of the line.
Q.3   A card is chosen from a deck of 52 cards. What is the probability if it is a
a)      Diamond
c)      Diamond or Spade     ( Marks: 3 )
n(S) = 52
Diamond cards = n(A) = 13 and Spade = n(B) = 13
a)      P(A) = n(A)/n(S) = 13/52
b)      P(B) = n(B)/n(S) = 13/52
c)      P(AUB) = P(A) + P(B)
= 13/52 + 13/52 = 26/52 = 1/2
