Effective CGPA is the total CGPA without counting failure courses

CGPA = Sum(Credit Hrs for course X Grade Point obtained in the course) / Sum(credit Hrs)

Cumulative grade point average (CGPA) is the weighted mean value of all grade points earned by enrollment or by examination in courses at VU.
(Explanation: GPA and CGPA includes the number of credit hours at VU for a letter grade even if a grade of “F” was earned).

Any improved grade will substitute “F” and “D” grades of the previous
Semester for calculating CGPA but “F” and “D” grades will form part of
the transcript.
CGPA means included F grade and Effective CGPA not included F grade.
thanks alot tariq bhai
sir i got F grade in 4 subjects of my last semester, and my total cgpa is 1.29 and effective is 1.63,,so now i have to make courseselection ,what ll be your advice

so ap mehnat kren inshalah cover hojyga..

Tariq Bhai ma ne BBA(hons) mien addmission lia tha. or ye mera 6th semester ha but ma ne abhi tak 4th semester k subject hi clear kiey hain.

Meri CGPA 1.75 ha or effective CGPA 1.89 or mera aik subject mien F ha. so kia main yeh subject clear kar k apni 2years ki degree le sakta hoon ya phir kia ma apni university change kar sakta hoon?
