The objective of this assignment is to enable the students in understanding the process of filing
complaints with Banking Mohtasib and various terms and conditions under which a Banking
Mohtasib is appointed.
On 15/10/2015, Mr. Ali tried to withdraw cash of Rs.20, 000/- from ATM machine of ABC
Bank Limited. But ATM machine did not completely process his request and an error message
was given. Next day Mr. Ali checked his bank account online which was showing a withdrawal
of Rs.20, 000/-. Mr. Ali immediately informed his bank (ABC Bank Limited) about this fact but
the response of the management of his bank was not so encouraging. So Mr. Ali decided to file
a complaint with Banking Mohtasib against his bank.
Keeping in view the above scenario, you are required to explain the complete procedure of filing
a complaint in Banking Mohtasib which Mr. Ali will have to follow in order to file his
complaint. In addition, you are also required to write the types of complaints a Banking
Mohtasib can receive, keeping in view various provisions of Banking Companies Ordinance,
24 hours extra / grace period after the due date is usually available to overcome uploading
difficulties. This extra time should only be used to meet the emergencies and above mentioned
due dates should always be treated as final to avoid any inconvenience.
• Make sure to upload the solution file before the due date on VULMS.
• Any submission made via email after the due date will not be accepted.
• Use the font style “Times New Roman” or “Arial” and font size “12”.
• It is advised to compose your document in MS-Word format.
• You may also compose your assignment in Open Office format.
• Use black and blue font colors only.
• Use APA style for referencing and citation. For guidance search “APA reference style” in
Google and read various website containing information for better understanding or visit
