CS001 GDB 2019-2020

 Dear Students,

You are advised to attempt GDB opened on February 3, 2020 and due date for posting your GDB is February 4, 2020 (Full 2 Days). There will be no grace day in this activity. Not Accepted via Email.

GDB is related to Microprocessor.

Suppose you are employed as an IT expert in a Digital Marketing company having 300 computers operating in a network with basic configuration of 32-bit processor and Ram (4GB or less). The management asks you an inquiry to settle a transaction with a PC Hardware supplier for the replacement of the 32-bit processors with new 64-bit processors in an attempt to improve the performance of the computer systems.

As an IT expert do you think this system upgrade will satisfy the company needs for efficient systems? If not, then what other improvement would you suggest to make the system efficient?

Provide precise (maximum 4 to 5 lines) and to the point comments in support of your answer.

A 64-bit processor is more capable than a 32-bit processor, because it can handle more data at once. A 64-bit processor is capable of storing more computational values, including memory addresses, which means it's able to access over four billion times the physical memory of a 32-bit processor.
