Graded Discussion Board TopicDated:Aug 07, 20

Dear Students,

Graded discussion (GDB) will be launched on 12th August, 2020 and it will remain open for two days. It is therefore advised to prepare answer of the below given topic and post it as soon as it has been made visible on the the LMS account. Please read the topic given below.

GDB Topic:

Translators are software which is required to convert code written in high level language to machine code to make it understandable for computers. There are different translators used with different computer languages such as compiler, assembler and interpreters.

C++ is a compiler based language which translates the whole program at once on the other hand interpreter translates high level language to machine language line by line. In your opinion if we change the compiler of C++ and use an interpreter instead for this purpose, how will it affect C++ language in terms of processing speed, efficiency or other factors? Support your answer with solid points.

Your answer must not exceed 6-7 lines and please post to the point answers.
