Question No.1:                                                                                                  6 Marks

Mr. Zahidis a user of 3G (UMTS) services offered by Mobilinknetwork. He is working as a sales officer in a Lahore based company and he often needs to travel within different areas to visit sale points. Currently, he is going to visit a nearby sale point which is covered by a neighboring cell of where he is. When he moves from one cell area to another cell area, handover process is carried out by the network. Which type of handover will be performed and which network componentwill be responsible for it.

In accordance with the above scenario, will this handover impact the carriersallocated to the user and how? Discuss briefly.
