It is request to Admin please solved the papers which is held before 2014,2015

some data is not in solved mooaz files.and other helping material.

Like this subjective Questions:

20 MCQs = 20x1 Marks

2 Questions each = 2 Marks

2 Questions each = 3 Marks

2 Questions each = 5 Marks

Anaylyse relation (EMPLOY(enpId,empName etc... ))... and tell weathr it is in 2ND
note: it is in 1NF -- 2 marks

Customer (c-no, name, address, city, phone-no)

Case A –
If c-no --> city, phone-no
Then c-no --> city and c-no --> phone-no

Case B –
If c-no --> phone-no and phone-no, address --> city
Then c-no, address --> city

Which of the Inference Rules are applied on the Case A and CaseB?
AxB find krna tha

A= no of week

B =shift

 A {Monday,tuseday,Wednesday ‘Thursday,Friday}

B={shift-1 shift-2 shift-shift-3}

Component ER data model ?

And we should to solved this type of question here for practice.

Thank you.

  1. purpose of data coding?
  2. while creating a data base first step is to analyze the system for which you are going to store data in data base. After analyzing the system which tool will you use for creating pictorial representing of the system?
  3. what is the communicative equation for select operation
  4. relational algebra
  1. purpose of data coding?

Data coding may be done directly on the data collection instrument (e.g., questionnaire) and then transferred to the data coding sheets, or entered directly into the computer
Coded allow the researcher to reduce large quantities of information into a form than can be more easily handled, especially by computer programs. Not all data need to be coded. For example, the accident rates for the fifty states would not be coded, but each state could be assigned a number (1 through 50) instead of using the state name

what is the communicative equation for select operation

The select operation is commutative, which is as under: -
σc1 (σc2(R)) = σc2 (σc1(R))
If a condition 2 (c2) is applied on a relation R and then c1 is applied, the resulting
table would be equivalent even if this condition is reversed that is first c1 is applied
and then c2 is applied.
For example there is a table STUDENT with five attribute

 operation of reational algrbra

There are five basic operations in relational algebra: Selection, Projection,
Cartesian product, Union, and Set Difference.

My paper dated 28th Dec 2015

Q 1: Diagram given the. Which of the attributes(s) from the given diagram is/are best candidate for multi-valued attribute? (3 Marks)

Q 2: Normal form se related question tha table diya tha or next normal form bnani the. (3 Marks)

Q 3: Two tables were given (student table with student ID, Student name, Father name, city and subject table with subject ID, Subject name, marks, credit hrs)

provide resultant table A, for the given resultant algebra statement, Student X theta Subject, where, theta=credit hrs>3 (5 marks)

Q 4: Suppose we have two entities involved in a relationship, Entities are A and B. Entity A and B are in one-to-many relationship. (5 Marks)

@ What would be the general rule for mapping A and B entity into relation?

A. what would be the constraint on foreign key, if;

  1. Minimum Cardinality = 0
  2. Minimum Cardinality = 1
