Assignment Submission Instructions:
Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting assignment:
It should be clear that your assignment will not get any credit if:
o Assignment is submitted after due date.
o Submitted assignment does not open or file is corrupt.
o Assignment is copied (From internet/ to from students).
o You must write all code in HTML and PHP only, No CSS/Javascript should be used.
Put your both html and PHP files in a folder, make its zipped file and upload your zipped file on the Assignments interface of CS406 at VULMS. Assignment submitted in any other format will not be accepted and will be graded zero marks.
The purpose of this assignment is to make you familiar with following topics:
o PHP Programming, Syntax, Data types, Variables, Variable Scope
o PHP Functions and Controls, Functions, Control Structures, Loops, Arrays
o Embedded PHP, Embedded PHP in HTML 5, Strings in PHP
Question 1: [10 marks]
Describe the usage of echo() and print() functions in php and explain how they are different from each other. Write one example of each function usage as well.
Question 2: [10 marks]
In previous assignment we developed an HTML form as given above. Using the same HTML form enter all the information in the form by user and when user clicks the submit button then form is closed and a new page is opened named “data.php” and display all the data of form into the “data.php” page entered by user as given in the following sample output as given below.

Hint: Use Post method to fetch data from the Form and use only php code to store the data into variable and display them accordingly. Also use Switch, If Else, or for and while loop where necessary. You can also use different PHP functions to combine strings or display information.
