Java Development Kit (JDK) Version 8 has been arrived with exciting new features and is by means considered as a big major release. Functional Programming paradigm has been introduced for the first time in Java by using Lambdas and Functional Interfaces.
You are required to discuss Functional Programing and Lambdas from language design perspective. What do you think what will be the impact of this change on overall Java programming language and developers? Discuss pros and cons.

not correct solution.
discuss that why this solution is incorrect.
bht he simple sa pocha hai gdb or jo bhai ne ans share kia hai es me wo aspect bhi bta dye hai jo gdb me nai pochy gdb me pocha gya hai k functional language and lambdas ka java ki language or developer pe kia asar pary ga kitni change ho jae ge java language or aik aik pro con bta dana hai simple sa gdb hai.
ap apna idea share kren GDB k bary ma
zohaib explain with example
bro ye bht he simple sa gdb hai es me example bilkul he nai hai idea hai jo me da du ga to khud ka copy case ban jae ga.
ans me ye btana hai k java pe or developer pe en new features like functional programmin and lambdas k any pe kia asar pary ga bcz java to object oriented language hai. itna bta dia hai agy khud kr len. THANKS

Java was designed in the 1990s as an object-oriented programming language, when object-oriented programming was the principal paradigm for software development. Long before there was object-oriented programming, there were functional programming languages such as Lisp and Scheme, but their benefits were not much appreciated outside academic circles. Recently, functional programming has risen in importance because it is well suited for concurrent and event-driven programming .This makes sense even if you are not interested in concurrency. For example, collection libraries can be given powerful APIs if the language has a convenient syntax for functional expressions.
The principal enhancement in Java 8 is the addition of functional programming constructs to its object-oriented roots. In this article, I demonstrate the basic syntax and examine how to use it several important contexts. The key points are:
A lambda expression is a block of code with parameters.
Use a lambda expression whenever you want a block of code executed at a later point in time.
Lambda expressions can be converted to functional interfaces.
Lambda expressions can access effectively final variables from the enclosing scope.
Method and constructor references refer to methods or constructors without invoking them.
