GDB Topic
New technologies will cause end of JAVA, do you agree? Support your answer with appropriate arguments in either case.
New Technologies are enhancing the power of java rather going to be eliminate it, i.e. AngularJS gave the acceleration in Java Web Development for Single Page Application(SPA).
Java is never ending technology; all android development is based on this technology and its future. Enterprise Application of Java will never let it die because currently there is no alternate of java in enterprise application with platform independence.
With evolution of new technologies java API also enhance i.e. Java is giving complete API for Cloud based SAAS application development, Batch processing, JSON parsing. Below is java enhancement along with other technologies enhancement and it is Java EE7 Technology Stack.
So many arguments are there in favour of java which can cause this debate in weeks if we start it :)
Tanks for reading
Regards,
SK
good
hmm i agree Java is never ending technology
cause java is an open source , platform independent, and also easy API's for developers.
Totally disagree with the lms topic as mentioned by sk strength and advantages of java are increasing more efficiently because in latest technologies are based on it,... so will go in favour of java

Java may die some day, but it will not be any time soon.
According to the TIOBE index, it is currently the second most used language around the world, after C. Even if the popularity if Java was to decrease, some other new languages and technologies closely related to Java, such as Scala, will ensure Java and the Java Virtual Machine continue to be used in some way or another.
We need to take into account also, the fact that Java is a proven trusted technology that is considered "safe" in the corporate computing world. This alone ensures Java will keep around for a very long time. For many people in the corporate world Java is actually the new toy. In the corporate world, technologies have a much longer life cycle because it is really difficult to move a huge corporation -with huge computing systems- from one technology to another and they will not move until the new technology is safe and proven
