 Last date: 04 Feb 2020

"A recent security audit of information systems of VYZ Dynamics shows that their systems have certain communication (TCP/UDP) ports opened to internet users in addition to required working ports. Illicit users may use these ports to capture access to various system resources. It has reported numerous events where the legitimate user’s access was prohibited by changing their password, where IT administrators must intervene to reset the user’s credentials. For significant periods, the organization operations were interrupted leading to complaints and dissatisfactions reports from the subscribers.

You have studied various concepts related to the security of information systems. You are required to identify what risk(s), threat(s) and vulnerabilities are discussed in the given scenario.

Your answer should not exceed 60 words. Unnecessarily long responses will be given 0 marks."
