Baud Rate = 2400
For QAM 16 bit rate is 4N
Bit rate = 2400 * 4 = 9600b/s

both Utp and stp  have some preference with eachother.  Which one is better.

better .... agr sirf yeh daikhna hai k better kon si hai . aur price ki parva nai karni to ofcourz STP is better. laikn STP costly hoti hai. so , UTP ko hi use kar lia jata hai agr budget na ho aur koi itni khas ya importent environment b na ho.

i think i question no 1 option no a the right answer is second layer is called data link layer u can see in page no 46  is clearly mention data link layer is responsible for node to node delivery.

STP stands for shielded twisted pair. When you look inside a networking cable there are six different wires are “paired” and these pairs are twisted. The purpose of this is to prevent something known as cross talk. Cross talk is where the signal along the wire experiences an electromagnetic interference induced by Eddie currents by twisting the tow wires this phenomena, is cancelled out and the data can then be transmitted without interference.
