Due Date: 08/06/2015

Objective:

To have the understanding of digital to digital encoding schemes.

How to develop assignment file:

• You are required to make assignment solution in hand written form and submit the colored scanned copy of the hand written assignment as image file or by copying the scanned image in word file.
• Assignment solution will also include handwritten student ID and name.
• You are required to use only blue ink to solve the assignment.

Assignment

Show the NRZ-I and Differential Manchester for the following bit pattern.

1 1 0 0 1 0 1 1

Assume that NRZ-I signal starts with negative polarity and for Differential Manchester assume first transition for 1 is Negative-to-Positive.

Provide your hand drawn solution showing bit transition with clock interval for both encoding schemes.

Q1. Seven Cs (7 Cs) are an important part of communication. Each C of communication is followed by two examples. Identify which one is a good example in the relevant C of communication.

@ABDUR-RAHEEM

You posted in wrong group this is not ENG group.

Muhammad Tariq your graph is correct and the question of 11001011 NRZ-I signals starts with negative polarity.. in this graph starts with negative polarity..

what is the meaning of this?? plz someone explain it

"Provide your hand drawn solution showing bit transition with clock interval for both encoding schemes."

Manchester...........
>>>Uses inversion at the middle of each bit interval for both synchronization and bit representation
>>Negative-to-Positive Transition= 1
>>Positive-to-Negative Transition = 0
>>By using a single transition for a dual purpose, Manchester acheives the same level of synchronization as RZ but with only two levels of amplitude
Differential

solution .....

Thank u Humayla

I have solved the same way :)

Differential Manchester assume first transition for 1 is Negative-to-Positive.

NRZ-I signal starts with negative polarity

confusion kr rhy hn sub ...

correct kon sa ha wo btao???????

i think ibrar ahmad ka solution correct ha amra b yahe aya.
