Answer the following questions. Each question carry equal marks:


  1. 1.       A certain value of increment is used to compute the successive points on the true curve while using either polynomial method or trigonometric method for scan-converting the curve. These computed points are then mapped to the image space. What are the effects of this increment value on the mapping process? In case of bad effects, what needs to be done for improvement?                                                                               [5 Marks]


  1. 2.      Indicate which raster location would be chosen by Bresenham’s Algorithm when scan converting a line from coordinate (15, 12) to coordinate (30, 25). In order to start the solution you are required to calculate initial calculations of dx, dy, d etc. You are required to fill the table with respective values.                                                      [10 Marks]
