Suppose you have assigned a task to develop an application (3D game) in which you are required to simulate shading effects of different 3D objects like spheres, cones, pyramids, cylinders and curves for different lighting effects like ambient, diffuse and specular.

i think that OpenGL and Direct 3d language are suitable for 3d games. Linus are well for 3D games but linus use other language tools.
but i cantnot understand clearly.plz help me that i am confused becasue i can't understand that who's langugae are best for 3D applicaiton?
yes,OpenGl and directx are shading languages for 3d gaming, but these are used along with some extra libraries to work on linux and other plate forms.
OpenGL is more powerful than DirectX, supports more platforms, and is essential for the future of games.

You have to just explain the "OpenGL" shadow language, as much as good you can....!!
