The objective of this assignment is


  • To make you understand the mesh representation of 3D objects.
  • To clear the concept of projection.


Important Requirements and Instructions:

  1. You are not allowed to copy it from internet. In that case no marks shall be awarded.
  2. Same assignment of two or more students shall be considered cheating case and they will get straight zero marks.
  3. Assignment last date is 13/01/2014. Any lame excuses will not be accepted.

Answer the following question.



You have to build a project in Dev C++ environment. In this project make an application which draws a pyramid.







  • Your application must draw given pyramid as 3D object.
  • Initialize three global variables Xc, Yc and Zc.
  • Declare a function to draw_3d_polygon ( ), for vertices, edges and surfaces in 2 dimensional arrays.
  • Declare get_projected_point( ) function to draw 3D object at 2D plane.
  • Declare a Line ( ) function to draw lines of the pyramid.
  • Main( ) function should pass values of int vertices[5][3], int edges[8][2] and int surfaces[5][5] to draw_3d_polygon ( ) function.
