Question 1:                                                                                                                               Marks 10      Question 1: Serial port contains a special chip for input/output which can communicate in two different modes. Explore and describe these modes and which one is better in the serial communication. Note: Solutions containing the image of any text will reward zero marks. Question 2:                                                                                                                               Marks 04      Data is written at UART internal Transmitter Holding Register. What do you think is the role of Transmit Shift Register and TxD line during this write operation?   Question 3:                                                                                                                               Marks 06      DTE wants to communicate with the DCE using RS232C Protocol. How does this communication start and end?  Identify the steps involved from the starting signal to ending signal between DTE and DCE device.

Yup its full duplex n  half duplex

asif(MCS FINAL) I didn't found something very special in this file. As there's not clearly mention that which are the two modes of UART.  Whether:

• Synchronous or Asynchronous
• Mode 0 or Mode 1
• General Mode or DMA Mode 
• Or something else

One more point which came to my mind is that UART communicates in ways i.e. taking input and transforms it through the serial port. May we call that two communication the two modes?

I found a chip which contain a two different modes for serial communication that is 

USART(Universal Synchronous/Asynchronous receiver Transmitter)

one is Synchronous

Second is Asynchronous

I am right? plz tell sooon....
