A request before solving it:
This is very easy assignment which requires only the implementation of a given scenario. This implementation will build your understanding of real mode and protected mode limitations more clearly. So, do not paste your solution from any kind of source. Just do and describe the solution in steps if possible. Otherwise describes the reasons of No answer shortly.
Question: Marks 20
Ahwas installed 64 bit operating system on his PC. Unfortunately, his system crashed and could not boot even in the safe mode. He has two equal partitions of his 120 GB hard drive. He has an important data on his secondary partition. He has a DOS bootable USB drive with FAT16 structure. Is it possible for Ahwas to access his important DATA from hard drive and copy to USB drive through available DOS bootable drive? Give logical reason for your answer.
Note: Google the different possibilities for the given scenario assuming that it happen with you. Implement all founded possibilities on your system then suggest a feasible solution for Ahwas within steps. You also can use any other utility within the scenario limitations.
ð Contact through Skype or email for any other query.

sir 32fat limited to 8 gb not more than
32gb for fat32
Advantages of FAT16 are:
MS-DOS, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and some UNIX operating systems can use it.
There are many tools available to address problems and recover data.
If you have a startup failure, you can start the computer with an MS-DOS bootable floppy disk.
It is efficient, both in speed and storage, on volumes smaller than 256 MB.
Disadvantages of FAT16 are:
The root folder can manage a maximum of 512 entries. The use of long file names can significantly reduce the number of available entries.
FAT16 is limited to 65,536 clusters, but because certain clusters are reserved, it has a practical limit of 65,524. Each cluster is fixed in size relative to the logical drive. If both the maximum number of clusters and their maximum size (32 KB) are reached, the largest drive is limited to 4 GB on Windows 2000. To maintain compatibility with MS-DOS, Windows 95, and Windows 98, a FAT16 volume should not be larger than 2 GB.
The boot sector is not backed up.
There is no built-in file system security or file compression with FAT16.
FAT16 can waste file storage space in larger drives as the size of the cluster increases. The space allocated for storing a file is based on the size of the cluster allocation granularity, not the file size. A 10-KB file stored in a 32-KB cluster wastes 22 KB of disk space.
just answer 1 thing why we are going in fat16 system and 2gb limit.we need just access data from dos base simple if yes then how other wise no.
we can access data from 800000tbs in bos base.
dear sir this is main point we can not ignore it because it is very clearly mentioned in the assimnt dos with fat16 driver. nahi to FAT16 ko assimnt me mentioned krna lazmi na tha
bootable dos usb have fat16 file system format with dos and need only copy important data from Hard Disk without changing in hard disk partition as well as file system.
2gb or more it is another issue just tell them we can access data means copy data from hard disk to usb yes or not
not all data need to copies just for clear our concepts.
