Question: Marks 20
Ahwas installed 64 bit operating system on his PC. Unfortunately, his system crashed and could not boot even in the safe mode. He has two equal partitions of his 120 GB hard drive. He has an important data on his secondary partition. He has a DOS bootable USB drive with FAT16 structure. Is it possible for Ahwas to access his important DATA from hard drive and copy to USB drive through available DOS bootable drive? Give logical reason for your answer.
Note: Google the different possibilities for the given scenario assuming that it happen with you. Implement all founded possibilities on your system then suggest a feasible solution for Ahwas within steps. You also can use any other utility within the scenario limitations.

64 bit operating system means the the partition is in NTFS? confirm this please.
I searched on Internet and found that DOS boot able USB drive with FAT16 can access data from 64 bit windows,
I think Ahwas can access data in this case. but he can access limited amount of data that is not more than of 2GB from secondary partition. If he has to copy some files that are less than 2Gb than i would be possible for him to access it ....
Wot you ALL says ????
Mohsin Latif bro it is not necessary for 64 bit OS to hv partitions in NTFS you can use FAT32 as well with 64 bit OS
windows use 64bit nfts efat fat32
Linux use ext3 ext3
ANY TYPE UTILTY BUT it is must usb with fat16 it is not change
i think we can use Backtrack or ubutu linux based operating system without instllation we can run it and copy data from local drive to usb drive easliy...
am i right...
it is not for data compressing task.
read again assignment for clarification.
