Use the below lesson plan as a sample to complete your assignment. Do not copy paste this sample, use this sample only for your understanding. Select any school of thought from the below given choices and make a lesson plan that will show the characteristics of that specific philosophy.
Sample Lesson Plan
Grade level: 1 to 5
Subject: Science
Topic: Types of Matter
Objectives:
Students will be able to:
- Understand the difference between the solids, liquids andgasses.
- Answer all the questions given in the text.
Resources:
- Science text book prescribed by Punjab Text Book Board for grade 5.
Task 1:
Teacher will ask the students to go to the page no 7 of the book and read the passage about the properties of solid, liquid and gassto answer Q1 and Q2.
Task 2:
Students will go to page 16 in the science book to look at the pictures and classify them in solids, liquids and gasses.
Assessment:
Teacher will assess the students and assign them the grades.
Conclusion:
In the above lesson plan, the emphasize of the teacher is using the reading books only. They are not incorporating the child centered activities in their methodology. The knowledge and concept that are already given in the books are being taught to the students. This sample lesson plan is based on the philosophy of ‘Perennialism’.
