Nothing succeeds like a success and nothing fails like a failure. It is generally believed that only the rich people having resources have the right to success. But it is just a myth. Truth is that the success is not the property of rich people. Success can also be achieved by those who have limited resources. Everybody has to encounter with the turbulent time in his life and thus this must not be any hindrance to set goals. But most of the people who end up with failure in achieving their targets want to live under the excuse of ‘turbulent time’.
True success needs motivation, determination, inspiration, a clear purpose, consistent behavior, a well-defined goal, encouragement and positive thinking. Some people are of the view that positive thinking is the most important ingredient of success, but it cannot come about without making practical efforts. If positive thinking raises the chances of success then lack of practical efforts do squeeze them.
Mohammad Ali Clay, a renowned boxing champion, used to say twice while entering the ring: “I am the greatest I am the champion. I am the greatest I am the champion”. He never said that “I hope I win, I hope I win”. Because this shows negativism and this behavior can harm you in achieving desired results and goals .He used to say while looking at his opponent “you got the belt but I am the champion”. By only shouting this, he didn’t become the champion .It was not only his positive thinking that drives him towards success. He did not become the champion by lying in his bed room, thinking positively and having popcorns. No, certainly not. It was his positive thinking including efforts made him a winner. All he did for becoming the champion was he thought positively and made efforts accordingly.
So there was no coincident that he became a champion because he had all the ingredients that he wanted to be successful.
The record of high jumping was 12 feet over the bar. The champion of high jumping was asked that how you jumped so high. He replied: “I threw my heart over the bar and my body followed it” so any coincident that he became a champion. No, certainly not. That was his positive thinking with efforts made him a jumping champion.
So efforts are as important as positive thinking is to become a winner. Positive thinking with efforts is the key factors of success. So, do think positively and make efforts accordingly to see you where you want to see yourself.Written By Syed Badsha
