Objective of the activity

The purpose of this activity is to provide students, opportunity to apply their subject related concepts into a real life scenario.

Learning outcome

After attempting this GDB, students will be able to analyze the prominence of managing the performance of agile talent in most effective way.

The premise

In today’s competitive business environment agile talent is emerging so as the organizational innovative leaders. The contemporary organizations are getting the best outcomes by recognizing and managing the performance of their agile workers in the most effective way. They are making drastic efforts in order to attract agile talent which is not always enough. There is an intense need to retain them by appraising them on the “right” performance management technique. Like many other countries Pakistani organizations have also adopted different performance management techniques, like Annual Confidential Report (ACR). ACR is widely used technique in various Government institutions and small business units. Few researchers argue that it should be shared with the respective concerned employees whereas some researchers argue that it should not be shared. There is a mix approach in ACR communication within the context of Pakistan.

Point of Discussion:

In your opinion, is sharing ACR with the concerned employees a good approach or it must be other way round? Provide your argument with solid reasons to support your choice.
