The Government of Pakistan introduced a highly modernized and technology oriented education system in the form of Virtual university of Pakistan.

Every system of education has merits and demerits. If we see limited opportunities of education for the students in universities in our country, Virtual University provide same opportunities to those students on their door step.

If we saw the face to face interaction, this is very important step in better education . A student learn many things directly, orientation makes his personality and he try to remove their mistakes easily.  He prepares himself for challenges in future life.

As being a part of online educational system I think that Conventional education and online education do have a lot in common but on the other hand there are certain factors which vary in each of them. Factors like cost, convenience, communication, interaction and credit transfer have substantial importance when you have to consider any of the educational systems. 

Face-to-face interaction in class room helps teacher puts greater impact on the students and also helps to delivers the most complete message to the students to understand the lesson easily and to achieve this task teacher use informal talk and share its educational knowledge and ensures that the message is conveyed accurately and is not diluted due to communication process gaps.

Experiencing a huge demand for college courses taught over the Web and not wanting to be swept aside by competitors from the commercial sector, universities are often pressuring faculty to teach courses online. Many faculty members have never taught online, and therefore wonder what they are getting themselves into. What are the differences between teaching online and teaching face-to-face? What can faculty members expect from the experience of teaching college courses on the Web?
Other faculty members have some experience teaching online, but haven't shared their experiences, nor have they read the literature on distance education. Their knowledge remains fragmentary. Are faculty experiences with teaching online specific to their content areas, or representative of the larger experience of teaching over the Web? This study seeks to integrate the experiences of professors currently teaching online into a qualitative description.
