Learning Objectives:
• To develop the understanding of listening process.
• To develop the concept, how to improve listening skills for effective communication.

Topic: Listening (Lesson 7)
The success of our business activities depends on how well we listen. Studies show that we spend about 80% of our time in communicating and 45 % of that time in listening. When it comes to listening, many of us are guilty of at least some bad habits and these bad habits can hinder our listening ability.

For example:
1. Instead of listening, do you think about what you are going to say next, while the other person is still talking?
2. Do you frequently interrupt people before they have finished talking?

Task 1: Identify at least ten (10) bad habits within you, which hinder your listening ability. (Mark 10)
Task 2: Suggest five (5) tips which help you to become a better listener. (Mark 5)

Learning Outcomes:
• Students will be able to improve their listening capabilities.
Note: Copied material will be graded “Zero” Schedule

Opening date and time November 27, 2020 at 12:00 AM (mid night)

Due date and time December 04 , 2020 at 12:00 AM (mid night)
