A well-renowned restaurant was serving both Pakistani, Chinese and Continental cuisines with diverse combinations of food and beverages in a comfortable environment. From buffet lunch, dinner and hi-tea. The customers were satisfied and the organization was generating significant profits. The CEO started receiving complaints regarding the quality of food from the customers. Due to these complaints the goodwill and profitability were going down day by dat. He called a meeting of the chef and supply chain manager to rectify the issues of customers. Chef said that he cooked the food as per desired standard and problems arising in raw material which received from different suppliers.

 

As a Supply Chain Manager, how would you use the supply chain design, planning and operation to maintain the goodwill and profitability of this restaurant?
