Lewin proposed a three staged model of planned change management process. First stage is to unfreeze the current equilibrium. In this stage, negative points of his existing state are highlighted and rewards are linked with desired state. Second stage is movement for change. This stage demands learning new habits and values and once an individual has moved to the desired state, refreeze the newly learnt values. Refreeze is the last stage of the process.
