The prime objective of this activity is to familiarize students with techno-structural intervention and the context in which restructuring intervention is applied. LEARNING OUTCOMES

Avon Control is a cellular company which has recently experienced falling market share, declining revenue due to some leadership issues. Company has failed to catch the pace of changing technologies. At priority the company management has decided to reduce costs, error rates, and turnaround times by bringing fundamental changes operations of its business. Management thought that by rationalizing processes and installing new computer systems, they could reduce cost and turnaround time.
Moreover, some product and service offerings have been discontinued temporarily to stay afloat in this rocking boat. Top management is now focusing on solving these short-term issues to make your company more flexible, responsive, efficient and effective for all stakeholders, including customers, employees and owners. REQUIREMENT
According to the above scenario, which techno-structural intervention is being practiced by Avon Control? Justify your answer with the logical arguments.
