A large scale health care organization was facing problem in coordinating its geographically dispersed business units. It had a plethora of data that was required to be integrated and evaluated by managers working in sub offices of the organization. In order to solve this problem, the management introduced new technology (SAP software) for managing all of the resources needed for the organization from a single point including material handling, marketing and sales, customer relationship management, payroll and human resources. This initiative was implemented as a planned change and several measures were taken to minimize employees’ anxieties and resistance for change.
According to “Lewin’s Model”, the organization has passed through the first two stages. What steps or initiatives would you recommend for the organization that can be taken to refreeze this change?
