section of VULMS in MGMT 728 - Module I Readings.
Based on the article, discuss the following questions:
Q1: List down the environmental trends (any 10) discussed in the article which have created significant compulsion on organizations in China to embrace organizational development programs. Explain any one of the factors that how can it give rise to the need for OD
interventions (only 5 points). (Marks 5+5, word limit 60+150)
Q2: After reading the article, explain how the culture of an organization and ‘organizational
effectiveness’ are closely related to each other? (Marks 5, word limit 200)
Q3: An important theme emerging from the article is ‘Cultural change can raise significant tensions especially when the individual and organizational interests are not congruent with each other, resultantly practitioners have to face ethical problems.’ Discuss it by giving one
suitable example from Pakistani context.
