A government body is not achieving its targets timely and the major reason behind the
situation is poor strategies of its Director Mr. Hasan. He is that type of personality who
always shows agreement with the group members because of his social nature. Mr. Hasan
is good at handling conflicts yet his first priority is to avoid uncertainty for smooth
running of the operations. In order to cope up with the situation of delayed targets, a
meeting was being called and resultantly two new personnel Mr. Ayaz and Mr. Ahmad
were being appointed. Mr. Ahmad analyzed the situation and tried to control the workers
by exertion of authority and set new targets. Mr. Ahmad developed competitive strategies and influence others for timely completion of projects. Mr. Ayaz always welcomes
regular feedback from lower level staff and accomplished goals.
Recall John W. Atkinson three needs theory and identify which of the basic driver or
motivator is dominant in above mentioned personalities. Elaborate with proper reasoning.
Use following format to prepare your assignment:

1) Need for Achievement
2) Need for Power
3) Need for Affiliation
Personality: Mr. Hasan > Need for Affiliation is more. He is listens his colleagues and agrees with their excuses although they are the reasons for not achieving their targets.
Personality: Mr. Ahmad > Need for Power. He monitored the situation and set target for each person. Each person is answerable if not meeting its deadline. He exercised his power and issued warnings to the staff not improve themselves.
Personality: Mr. Ayaz > Need for Achievement. He listened to the issues from the staff, try to find out the solutions. Staff is happy and motivated to reach the goals.

Here is the answer for one of the personality. Rest you do it.
Personality : Need for Power
Name : Mr. Ahmed
Driver/ Motivator : Used his authority of power. Developed new strategies according the situation. Set new targets and deadlines. Influence staff they must complete projects on time.
Reasons : Staff lazy. Do not care about projects, deadlines and quality. Needs strict actions to make them answerable.
