A US-based well-renowned textile company situated in Pakistan hires some employees
from five different countries other than Pakistan. HR Manager of the company knows
that newly hired employees are highly qualified and a good fit for the company but he
also sees that their first language is not English. The aim behind hiring from different
cultures and backgrounds was to expand their business in global markets. So, that’s why
it was necessary to have employees fluent in other languages. Marketing Manager and
other higher officials perceive this hiring a misfit because they believe that this much
diverse workforce will create hindrances instead of creating benefits.
1. By keeping in mind the above scenario pinpoint two possible issues that will arise
due to specified differences. (2.5+2.5=5 marks)
2. “Decision of HR Manager to hire a diverse workforce would be fruitful in the
