Mr. Ahsan was the interviewer who shakes hand and invites you to get comfortable. Your interview has started!
Mr. Ahsan asked the mundane questions to grow your confidence. You felt comfortable that you are doing fine. Suddenly, he asked the tougher questions. He leaned backed and asked why you want to leave your current job that you had been working for 5-years. You start to explain that you want to leave that for personal reasons. His body language become different and starts to investigate without any smile. All right, you think, be honest and tell the actual situation that your supervisor is incompetent and he has personal relations with senior management, and there is no chance for your promotion. Mr. Ahsan replies that it is childish reason for wanting to leave. You are mature enough and have what it takes to make it in this company. You think how he dares to talk to you that way; who does he think he is? So you respond with an angry tone in your voice. Here, you should understand that you have become a victim of one of the classic tricks of the interviews i.e. stress interview.

Yes, becoming angry in an interview, when pressurized, indicate candidate’s propensity towards violence.

• Biological factors
• Socialization factors
• Cognitive factors
• Situational factors
This tendency towards violence can be because of some biological factors but at the same time interviewee also facing situational factors as the interviewer intentionally asking such questions that can are increasing pressure on interviewee which leads to aggressiveness..
Interviewer is asking blame questions. That shows whether a person able to accept his own decision or put the blame on others as the interviewee did. Organizations usually prefer those people that can accept their own decisions without blaming others.
Post of HR manager requires a calm natured and cool minded personality which can handle unethical behaviors while resolving conflicts among employees and among employees and management.
As in scenario, interviewee come into rage on some tough and stress questions that shows his aggressive attitude and such attitude can worsen the conflicts and problems rather to solve them. This shows whether the interviewee can handle the stress situations or not.
