Assignment Questions:
Q1. What is the main difference between equal employment opportunity and affirmative
action? Write one main difference in your own words. (2 marks)
Q2. Find two job advertisements either from the online or offline newspapers. One job
advertisement should show that the company is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO)
and the other should show the compliance of Affirmative Action.
Also highlight the text on the basis of which you have identified the particular job
advertisement. (8 marks)
Guidelines:
You are required to copy both job advertisements and paste in Word File.
Provide the relevant URL of the website with the name of a newspaper.

24 hours extra / grace period after the due date is usually available to overcome
uploading difficulties. This extra time should only be used to meet the emergencies and
above mentioned due dates should always be treated as final to avoid any inconvenience.

• Make sure to upload the solution file before the due date on VULMS.
• Any submission made via email after the due date will not be accepted.
FORMATTING GUIDELINES:

Idea Solution MGT 501 Assignment -1

Ans1: In EEO all Employees are treat equally in the organization without any favor and discrimination because of color, gender, geographical culture,religion or any other reason while in Affirmative action some favor has been given but in positive sense that is to overcome the any past discrimination effects.

Ans2:

a) For EEO You can paste Advertisement of open merit jobs and like these

b)For affirmative Action you can paste advertisement of jobs just for special peoples and like these

Note: Use your own wordings as well it’s Idea so your suggestions are highly appreciated.

Here iz the solution, But u guys have to choose different job advertisements to earn full marks.
