If the HR Manager of an organization is not in a position to carry out his duties effectively, the whole working environment of the company is affected in bad manner. Core functions and responsibilities of an organization can be propounded and explained with the help of following grounds of great paramount importance.
Recruitment and selection of workers
Recruitment of employees is one of the most significant tasks of an HR Manager. HR manger is liable for attracting such people in numbers and encouraging them in order to apply for jobs making sure that they will be in the best interest of the business concern.

HR Managers often have to deal with employees who are habitually late, take too many days off, spend too much time socializing with other employees and fail to meet the deadlines. So discipline is created with the help of it.
Formation of policies
It is evitable for the HR Management department to constantly review the existing company policies, make appropriate changes in them and come up with new strategies and policies that furnish to the growing demands of any company. These policies foster in having the smooth functioning of an organization and make sure that the interests of both the company and the employees are under safe.
Execution of policies
It also falls under the duties of the HR Management department to make sure that all the old and new policies of an organization are executed.
Distribution of gift rewarded
It is one of the most important and difficult tasks the HR Management department. A Human Resource Manager has to make sure that the appraisals that are catered to the employees are not unfair and correspond with the level of input and output of each employee. If a Manager gives unfair or biased appraisals, the employees will become discontent and the quality of work will spoil quickly and immediately.
Establishment of departing interview
When an employee would like to leaves an organization, the HR Manager has to conduct the exit interview as well. It provides and caters uncommon valuable discernment for the HR department for, it makes them immense aware to the needs and the problems that the employee faced and challenged at the organization.
