Premise:

COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) is a world wild pandemic in which almost all the countries are affected. World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the coronavirus outbreak a global pandemic. This COVID-19 is a respiratory virus which spreads primarily through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, exhales or discharge from the nose.

Now, Pakistan is also the part of this ongoing worldwide pandemic of COVID-19.The virus was confirmed to have reached in Pakistan on 26 February 2020 when a student in Karachi tested positive upon returning from abroad. Then both the federal and provincial governments have implemented measures to contain and mitigate the spread of virus. Border closures were imposed, localized quarantine areas were defined, travel restriction were imposed, and all public events were banned.

Pakistan's top health official has said that the intensity of spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the country is not as severe as in other parts of the world. But still the official data showed that new cases in the country are rising day by day and pointing out a critical situation ahead.

 

Point of discussion:

Keeping in view the current situation of coronavirus, you are required to examine four factors of service quality i.e. convenience, courtesy, responsiveness, and tangibility to judge the effectiveness of our hospital’s service delivery. Discuss the reasoning in support of your answer.
